Do PORKPIE and HUMMUS go together?

TALC is a regular word in Donkey Oaty, but I hadn't come across TALCY before (and yes, that means TALCIER and TALCIEST are just waiting for their turn).

Words formed the combination of 2 other words are very common in the English language, and we had two examples of those in CATGUT and PORKPIE (I don't think DOTAGE really qualifies here).

It turns out that HUMMUS can be spelt in a multitude of ways: HUMUS, HOMMOS, HUMOUS, HOUMMOS and HOUMOUS are all allowed (and their plurals as well). This often happens with imported words.

And when spelt as HUMUS, it also means an organic substance of rotting vegetable matter.
